Job Description:

- Order to invoice experience in B2B environment
- Answers incoming phone calls from our Customer Care phone numbers
- Assist customers with placing orders, providing quotes or providing order status over the phone or via email
- Use critical thinking skills to resolve customer concerns such as product search, pricing and invoicing discrepancies, and facilitate returns
- Assist in managing our shared customer support inbox (Front email system) for our Foundation and Review accounts: Order entry, order status updates, and quick quotes

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling and dispensing of medications, supplies, and the provision of pharmaceutical care.
- Verify information on prescriptions received prior to processing (correct prescriber, name of patient, patient information, medication, dose, quantity, number of refills, lot and expiration date).
- Communicate with Patient Service Center (PSC) representatives as necessary to ensure medication compliance, medication and supply inventory, and overall coordination of care and as applicable.
- Account for delivery receipts for all delivered prescriptions.
- Follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician to join our team in Charlestown, IN. This role involves supporting the Pharmacist in the preparation, filling, and dispensing of medications while ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with all applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pharmacist with reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling, and dispensing medications and supplies, while ensuring proper pharmaceutical care.
- Verify prescription details prior to processing, including prescriber information, patient data, medication, dosage, quantity, refills, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
- Collaborate with Patient Service Center (PSC) representatives to ensure medication compliance, inventory management, and care coordination.
- Accurately account for and document delivered prescriptions.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and other privacy laws, along with federal and local guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records, including prescription logs and related documentation.
- Receive, store, and log inventory and returns, verifying quantities against invoices and notifying supervisors of any stock shortages.
- Assist Inventory Specialists in conducting periodic expiration date reviews and preparing outdated medications for destruction as per procedures.
- Post payments and shipments to ensure accurate payment status and account activity.
- Review completed prescriptions and authorizations to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Follow up on any outstanding prescriptions or authorizations and escalate issues to the pharmacist or PSC technicians as necessary.
- Address and resolve order delays promptly.
- Perform Quality Assurance checks on pharmacy equipment and ensure shipping requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one (1) year of experience in pharmacy operations or logistics.
- State-specific Pharmacy Technician License, or willingness to complete 'Technician in Training' requirements as approved by the state Board of Pharmacy within one year of hire.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
