Job Opening: General Surgery Registered Nurse

Contract to Hire opportunity for a General Surgery RN at Prestigious Healthcare provider in Los Angeles area!

Position length: 6+ months

Pay rate: 51.40-60.89/hr

Schedule: M-F 8:00a to 4:30p, NO weekends

Summary of Qualifications

Experience & Education:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience within the past 3 years.
• Registered Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support (AHA-certified).

• Workplace Safety: Adheres to safety protocols, infection control, and emergency preparedness.
• Patient Care & Experience: Provides compassionate care, ensures confidentiality, and enhances patient satisfaction.
• Team Commitment: Acts as a mentor, participates in training, and fosters a collaborative work environment.
• Fiscal Responsibility: Manages resources efficiently and identifies system improvements.

Health Requirements:

• Up-to-date physical exam, TB screening, and Hepatitis B screening.
• Documented immunity to Varicella, MMR, and Tdap vaccination (declinations not allowed for MMR/Varicella).
• Flu vaccination (required or declination form signed).
• Selected candidates must pass background check, and education verification.
