Job Opening: Payroll Assistant

Now hiring for a Payroll Assistant!
This is temporary to permanent hire role that requires working fully onsite in the Huntington Beach, CA area!
Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM

Responsibilities:
- Working within ADP RUN
- Maintaining payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data
- Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions
- Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non-taxable wages
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries
- Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
- Processing and issuing W-2 forms to employees
- Assisting with sales tax processing
- Setting up new employees and states within ADP System
- Additional duties may include bookkeeping functions
Qualifications:
- Experience working within ADP Run and QuickBooks
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Previous bookkeeping experience a plus
- Intermediate to advance Microsoft Excel skills
