Immediate Opening for a Logistics Recruiter & Retention Representative in Oakland, CA!
This is a temporary to permanent hire opportunity that requires working fully onsite.
Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
Seeking a dedicated Recruiter & Retention Representative with strong cold-calling skills to help fill driver roles. This position involves high-volume outbound calling to recruit qualified drivers, screen candidates, and guide them through the application process.
This role is ideal for someone comfortable spending the majority of their day on the phone, maintaining high energy and professionalism. Candidates with a background in the transportation industry, recruiting, or call centers are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-volume cold calls to identify, qualify, and engage potential driver candidates.
- Screen candidates based on specific role requirements and assess their fit for the position.
- Provide an engaging overview of the role, compensation, and company to attract top talent.
- Maintain thorough records of all candidate interactions and progress in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Collaborate with the internal recruiting team and client hiring managers to meet recruitment goals.
- Stay informed on industry trends to communicate effectively with candidates.

Job Requirements:
- Prior experience in recruiting, customer service, call centers, or the transportation/logistics industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong phone presence.
- Ability to handle high call volumes while remaining organized and focused.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or similar recruiting software is a plus
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
