RemX has an immediate opening for an Accounting Specialist with a growing company located in Morristown, TN.
- Location: 100% onsite- Morristown, TN
- Hours: 8am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday
- Pay: $23-$25/hr
Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist:
- Handle a high volume of accounts payable
- Process, verify and reconcile invoices and vendor statements
- 3-way match
- Prepare and process EFT and payments
- Process check runs
- Communicate with vendors on a regular basis
- Perform general accounting functions: journal entries, account reconciliations, prepare reports, etc.

Qualifications for the Accounting Assistant:
- Associate degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience
- Great working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting software
- Organized with the ability to work independently and prioritize workload
- Great problem solving skills
