ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Establishes and maintains meaningful therapeutic relationships with members served
• Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care
• Makes appropriate recommendations for living environments, therapy, psychiatrist visits, case management and other services
• Provides services to all members served as indicated in the Services Plan or Recovery Plan
• Documents and communicates interactions with members to other services team members as appropriate
• Maintain awareness of community resources and assists members served in appropriate use of community resources
• Assists members served with all needs, including Activities of Daily Living(ADLs)
• Assists members served in obtaining appropriate benefits
• Advocates for and accompanies members when needed on long appointments e.g. SSI, DMV, GR (General Relief) etc.
• Safeguard confidentiality; adhere to HIPAA policies
• Foster independence with members served

Duties may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

* Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
* Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures
* Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required
* Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles
* Fully understand all of the physicians' orders
* Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes; label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order
* Checks all test requisitions or computer label against script to ensure 100% correct
* Package specimens for transport
* Stores specimen sample according to required temperature, places samples in appropriate collection container/ tube, accurately labels, follows different procedures as outlined by specific to protocol deemed necessary for transport to maintain integrity of the specimen.
* Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations
* Wears appropriate attire including all PPE
* Attend annual department trainings
* Answer telephone calls, read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries
* Other duties as assigned

Phlebotomist

Job description

The Phlebotomist in this position draws blood from patients with minimum discomfort and pain, for the performance of various blood and chemical analyses; works effectively with other personnel to provide efficient and effective services.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES:

Duties may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Activate patients in the system of record upon arrival on the date of service and assist patients and customers in navigating throughout the hospital facility
• Verify patient insurance; read and understand responses from automated financial clearance tool and take appropriate action, including referrals to Patient Access Specialist or Financial Counselor, as appropriate
• Ensure that required/applicable forms and documents are presented and explained at time of registration

• The Hospital Admissions - Registration Associate will be responsible for the efficient and timely admission of inpatients, emergency and/or outpatient who have hospital-based inpatient and outpatient testing and emergency services
• Ensure that the patient information is appropriately gathered and provides necessary information to patients about all hospital forms and procedures
• Enters all received information required for admission, emergency and /or outpatient services into computer database
• Distributes appropriate information to appropriate departments based on policies and procedures
• Requests out-of-pocket expenses, deductibles, and co-pays are paid at time-of-service from patients
• Ensures patient’s information is protected against HIPAA violations according to the policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned or required in order to ensure the best possible situation for the patient, physician and/or other employees

We are seeking a Call Center Rep to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues.

• Hours: 8a-5p Mon-Fri
• Pay: $17-$18/hr.
• 100% Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Provide information for healthcare gaps (gap care / preventative care)
• Make outbound calls reminding members to come in for flu shots, pap smears, mammograms, etc.
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving services

  medications for dispensing and for delivery, meeting the accuracy and productivity
  standards of the pharmacy
• Labels products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels
• Participates in the periodic inventory of the pharmacy
• May check in drugs and supplies, stock shelves and remove out-of-date items from the
  inventory
• Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders and ointments, which may
  include non-sterile compounding
• Communicates with internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional
  manner
• May process returned medications from the facility for credit or destruction
• Assists in the training of new employees
• Also performs at least one of the following:
  o Works in the Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) Room;
  o Works with automated machine to prepack drugs;
  o Manages inventory functions such as monitoring pharmaceutical levels and
  identify expired medications, managing to the pharmacy standard for Days on
  Hand;
  o Inputs patient data and medication orders into a computer system to produce
  labels (data entry);
  o Mixes/packages IV medications, sanitizes IV room, equipment and hood
• Services facility-based medication dispensing machines (e.g., Rx Now)
• Performs other tasks as assigned
