Job Title: Temporary Recruiter/Administrative Specialist
Location: Carlsbad, CA 92008
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Assignment through May 2025)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
Start Date: Immediate
Job Summary: Temporary Recruiter/Administrative Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in recruitment and administrative functions, with a strong emphasis on utilizing ADP systems for onboarding and employee data management. The role also requires proficiency in E-Verify procedures to ensure compliance with employment eligibility requirements. This position is not entry-level, and we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal training.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
- Develop job postings and advertise open positions on appropriate platforms to attract qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions tailored to specific roles.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring timely communication with candidates and hiring teams.
- Conduct background checks and employment verifications as required.
Onboarding & Employee Administration:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless and welcoming transition.
- Enter employee information accurately into the ADP system, including tax forms, direct deposit details, and benefits enrollment.
- Maintain compliance with employment eligibility verification by managing E-Verify processes.
- Create and manage employee files, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to HR and leadership teams, including preparing reports, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports to support HR compliance and audits.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to recruitment and onboarding.
- 1 year of recruiting experience
- ADP experience a plus
- MS Office Suite
